The Desktop DualDraw is a compact air filtration solution designed to provide immediate airflow protection with minimal impact to footprint.  Designed to be placed on top of an existing work surface, these units can be quickly installed and operated in even the most crowded facilities where floor space is at a premium. Protection of the operator from this thoughtfully designed unit is optimized through the use of the patented DualDraw airflow technology, creating even distribution of airflow across the perforated work surface.

The filtration system is located on top of the unit with an easy access door located directly in front of the operator. It comes complete with a filter system configured with filter media based on the operator application.

Characteristics	Patented DualDraw design: even distribution of airflow across a perforated surface. Small footprint provides ease of install and portability. Easily placed on an existing work surface. Units can be conveniently located on existing work surfaces and put into operation immediately.
Filtration System	The filtration system sits on top of the unit and filters are easily accessed from the front. Choose between dust collection, smoke or fume removal, and HEPA filtration. All filter systems come with a magnehelic gauge to monitor filter cleanliness.
• Dust	For dust producing applications, the unit is configured with a prefilter and a final filter. A washable metal spark arrestor is also used for a sparking application. The standard prefilter is 40% efficient to a 0.7 μ and the final filter is 95% efficient to 0.7 μ.
• Smoke/Fume	For welding applications, the unit is configured with a prefilter, final filter, and washable metal spark arrestor for safety. The standard prefilter is 40% efficient to a 0.7 μ and the final filter is 95% efficient to 0.7 μ. For fume control, 6 lbs. of activated carbon or a potassium permanganate/carbon blend filter is used depending on the chemistry of the fume.
• HEPA	Optional High Efficiency Particulate Air filter are available for maximum filter efficiency. HEPA filters are 99.97% efficient to 0.3 μ.
Available Sizes	The footprint of the LB2524 Desktop DualDraw is 25” D x 24” W x 50.5” H. The LB2536 is 25” D x 36” W x 50.5” H. Flexible design construction allows customers to cost-effectively specify non-standard sizes.
Work Surface Area	The surface area of the LB2524 and LB2536 is 3.1 ft2 and 4.7 ft2 respectively. The surface of the equipment consists of (4) 5” D perforated C-channel grates. Each grate has evenly spaced 1/2” x 3/16” perforations that create an equal distribution of downdraft across the surface. Units configured for the capture of aluminum dust come with non-sparking table grates and side shields.
Table Capacity	100 lbs. – 250 lbs. distributed weight. Reinforced grates and table sides available for heavy-duty use. Units are typically placed on a pre-existing work space that should be also evaluated for weight load.
Cabinet	12-16 gauge modular body construction.
Finish	Powder coat paint finish. Standard color is laboratory light grey. Cardinal paint color GR-230.
Filters	A set of new filters are included with each unit. Discount replacement filter kits are available through the DualDraw website. Depending on the application, the following may be contained in a unit: • Standard 24” x 12” x 4” pleated prefilter. 40% efficient to 0.7 microns. MERV 7. • Standard 24” x 12” x 4” pleated final filter. 95% efficient to 0.7 microns. MERV 14. • Standard 24” x 12” x 2” activated carbon filter for fume removal. 6 lbs. • Optional 24” x 12” x 4” HEPA filter. 99.97% efficient to 0.3 microns. MERV 17.
Spark Arrestor	Heavy-duty steel spark arrestor to catch residual particulate and reduce fire hazard. Standard equipment for applications that generate hot particulate or spark. Washable.
Electrical	Units come pre-wired with a thermally protected manual motor starter
