Part# FLPANC0002 is our 3 lb. activated carbon filter. Activated carbon filters help improve indoor air quality by removing harmful fumes, vapors, VOCs, and odors. There are many use cases for activated carbon filtration, including painting, coating, touch-up, gluing, and solvent application to name a few. Activated carbon filters are also used in our mailscreening equipment to protect operators from harmful fumes emanating from potentially harmful packages.
Activated carbon filters can absorb up to one third of their weight in vapor before requiring replacement. Once your 3 lb. carbon filter is removed from its packaging, it will start absorbing moisture in the atmosphere. It has approximately one and a half months of useful life before it reaches maximum absorption and requires replacement.
