Self Contained Downdraft Tables Using DualDraw ® Airflow Technology

The DualDraw Flat Top Downdraft Table is a air filtration solution designed to maximize versatility and while minimizing shop floor space. The design of the unit provides operators with flexibility when working with larger parts. The versatility and flexibilty of the the Flat Top design is maintained all while protecting operators from harmful particulate and fumes.

The Flat Top downdraft style incorporates the patented DualDraw airflow design and comes complete with a filter system configured based on the operator application.

General Specifications

STANDARD MODELS:	FT3036 (30"D X 36"W Work Surface), FT3048 (30"D X 48"D), FT3060 (30"D X 60"W), FT3072 (30"D X 72"W), FT3096 (30"D X 96"L). Modified sizes available. Depth of unit adjustable in 5" increments. Length of unit can be cost-effectively modified to most desired lengths, please inquire.
Characteristics	Patented DualDraw design: even distribution of airflow across a perforated surface. Self contained solution; no outdoor exhausting necessary.
Filtration Systems	The filtration system is located inside the unit, under the work surface to minimize footprint without compromising safety and filter life. Choose between dust collection (including aluminum dust), smoke or fume removal, and HEPA filtration. All filter systems come with a cleanout tray, a magnehelic gauge to monitor filter cleanliness, and an easy-to-remove access door for filter maintenance.
• Dust	For dust producing applications, the unit is configured with a prefilter and a final filter. A washable metal spark arrestor is also used for a sparking application. The standard prefilter is 40% efficient to a 0.7 μ and the final filter is 95% efficient to 0.7 μ.
•Smoke/Fume	For welding applications, the unit is configured with a prefilter, final filter, and washable metal spark arrestor for safety. The standard prefilter is 40% efficient to a 0.7 μ and the final filter is 95% efficient to 0.7 μ. For fume control, 12 lbs. of activated carbon or a potassium permanganate/carbon blend filter is used depending on the chemistry of the fume.
• HEPA	Optional High Efficiency Particulate Air filter (HEPA) is available for maximum filter efficiency. HEPA filters are 99.97% efficient to 0.3 μ.
Available Sizes	Standard sizes are 30"D and 36", 48", 60", 72", and 96"L. Standard height is 34"H. Flexible design construction allows customers to cost-effectively specify non-standard sizes. Depth of unit is adjustable in 5" increments. Length of unit can be cost-effectively modified to most desired lengths.
Work Surface Area	The surface of the equipment is a series of 5” D x 32” W perforated C-channel grates. Each grate has evenly spaced 1/2” x 3/16” perforations that create an equal distribution of downdraft across the surface. Standard grates are 16 GA galvanized steel. Heavy duty 12 GA grates are available for operations with heavier parts. Units configured for the capture of aluminum dust come with non-sparking table grates and side shields.
Table Capacity	750 lbs. – 1,000 lbs. distributed weight. Reinforced grates and table sides available for heavy-duty applications.
Cabinet	12-16 gauge modular body construction.
Finish	Electro galvanized non-glare metal finish. Powder coat paint available as an option.
Filters	A set of new filters are included with the unit. Discount replacement filter kits are available through the DualDraw website. Depending on the application, the following may be contained in a unit: • Standard 24” x 24” x 4” pleated prefilter. 40% efficient to 0.7 microns. MERV 7. • Standard 24” x 24” x 4” pleated final filter. 95% efficient to 0.7 microns. MERV 14. • Standard 24” x 24” x 2” activated carbon filter for fume removal. 6 lbs. • Optional 24” x 24” x 11.5” HEPA filter. 99.97% efficient to 0.3 microns. MERV 17.
Spark Arrestor	Heavy-duty steel spark arrestor to catch residual particulate and reduce fire hazard. Standard equipment for applications that generate hot particulate or spark. Washable.
Dust Pans	Cleanout tray iis standard.
Electrical	Units come pre-wired with a thermally protected manual motor starter and two single phase outlets.
Lighting	Flat top units do not have an option for lighting. Please inqure about any custom need.
Motor	Single phase 115/220V or three phase 230/460V available. Horsepower ranges from 3/4 to 6 HP. Units configured to capture aluminum dust come with a non-sparking fan wheel.
Capture Velocity Range	Calibrated based on ACGIH (American Conference of Industrial Hygienists) standards. Ranges from 125 to 350 FPM depending on application and customer requirement.
Air Volume	Low flow and high flow options available. CFM ranges from 1,200 to 5,000 on standard units.
Sound	Ranges from 70 – 78 dB at operator work zone. Optional silencer package.
Magnehelic Gauge	Pressure gauge provides indication of when filters should be checked.
Unit Weight	Standard sizes range from 450 lbs to 1,200 lbs. uncrated.
Caster wheels	Optional heavy-duty 3.5” caster wheels for ease of movement.
Assembly	None required. Ships complete, FOB Commerce City, CO.
