DualDraw Aluminum Dust Collection equipment is designed to safely capture explosive aluminum dust in a cost-effective and easy-to-maintain manner.  Built to comply with national fire protection codes, units come complte with a non-sparking work surface, side wings, vented back stop, and fan wheel.  Units do not require water or compressed air and come with an easy to maintain, front accessible clean-out tray.

Each unit incorporates the patented DualDraw airflow design of the perforated surface and signature vented back stop with a filter system specifically designed for safely capturing aluminum dust.

General Specifications 

Standard Models	Downdraft Tables with Vented Back Stop (BG), Flat Top Tables (FT), Booths (TB), and Walk-In Clean Air Stations (WI). Sizes range from 36”W to 96”W for tables and booths. Walk-In Clean Air Stations range in size from 8’W to 20’W. Filter system designation: AL (Aluminum).
Characteristics	Patented DualDraw design: even distribution of airflow across a perforated surface and vented back stop. Filtration Systems	Filtration systems are designed specifically for aluminum dust capture. The motor and blower extend 19” beyond the depth of the work surface. Filters are located internally in the body of the equipment. Typically, filters are accessed by removing the table grates on the work surface of the unit. .
• Internal Option	Internal filter systems are located inside the table and accessed through a door located on the bottom front. Internal filter systems reduce overall depth by 24” and are a practical solution when space is limited. Cleanout tray for ease of maintenance.
• HEPA Option	HEPA filter systems for dust, smoke, or fumes are available. HEPA systems can also be located internal. Cleanout tray for ease of maintenance.
Available Sizes	Standard lengths are 36”, 48”, 60”, 72”, and 96”. Standard depth of the work surface is 30” and standard height is 58” for tables and 80” for booths. Flat Top Tables are 34” in height. Table footprint extends an additional 19” D to account for the motor and blower. Walk In Clean Air Stations range in size from 8’W x 8’D x 8’H to 20’W x 8’D x8 ’H. Flexible design construction allows customers to cost-effectively specify non-standard sizes.
Work Surface Area	The work surface is non-sparking and the area ranges from 4.5ft2 to 20ft2. The surface of the equipment is a series of 5” W perforated aluminum C-channel grates. Each grate has evenly spaced 1/2” x 3/16” perforations that create an equal distribution of downdraft across the surface.
Table Capacity	250 lbs. – 500 lbs. distributed weight. Reinforced grates and table sides available for heavy-duty use.
Cabinet	12-16 gauge modular body construction.
Finish	Electro Galvanized – non glare. Powder coat paint finish available.
Filters	A set of new filters are included with the unit. Discount replacement filter kits are available through the DualDraw website. The following filter set comes with the unit: • Standard 24” x 24” x 4” pleated prefilter. 40% efficient to 0.7 microns. MERV 7. • Standard 24” x 24” x 4” pleated final filter. 95% efficient to 0.7 microns. MERV 14. • Optional 24” x 24” x 11.5” HEPA filter. 99.97% efficient to 0.3 microns. MERV 17.
Dust Pans	Removable front dust pans/clean out trays for easy access and maintenance.
Electrical	Units come pre-wired with a thermally protected manual motor starter and two single phase outlets. Magnetic motor starter optional.
Lighting	Standard fluorescent lighting on Booths and Walk-In Clean Air Stations.
Motor	Single phase 115/220V or three phase 208/230/460V motor depending on customer requirement. Horsepower ranges from ¾ HP to 30 HP based on size of unit and application.
Capture Velocity	Ranges from 175 to 400 FPM depending on application and customer requirement.
Air Volume	CFM ranges from 2,000 to 22,500 on standard units. 68% through work surface and 32% through vented back on Tables and Booths.
Sound	Ranges from 72 – 78 dB at operator work zone. Optional silencer package.
Magnehelic Gauge	Pressure gauge provides indication of when filters should be checked.
Unit Weight	Varies based on size. Ranges from 750 to 1,500 lbs. uncrated for Tables and Booths. Walk-In Clean Air Stations can weigh up to 4,000 lbs for the larger units.
Caster wheels	Optional heavy-duty 3.5” caster wheels for ease of movement on Tables and Booths.
Assembly	None required. Ships complete, FOB Commerce City, CO.
